How we work
Primary sources first. Every claim attributed.
Every figure is attributed to a named source, linked where one is available. Primary sources come first: company filings, earnings releases, earnings-call transcripts, exchange data and official government data.
Facts carry a source. Interpretation is signposted as interpretation, and where a story lays out the case for and against an investment, both sides come from sourced arguments. We don't make buy, sell or hold recommendations or set price targets.
We don't conduct interviews or use anonymous sources of our own. Reports based on anonymous sources are labeled as reported, and we say whether the company has confirmed them. If we saw a report only through another outlet, we cite that outlet and say so.
